🪓 On non-superwash bases the colors read like vintage clothing, faded and well-loved, with the occasional flash of saturation that’s been hiding untouched, underneath the back pocket fabric in a pair of jeans
This colorway is an ode to unhinged romanticism, when feverish dreams and desires cross the line into utter madness and unbridled violence. A depiction of Pearl’s desperate yearning for stardom, the glossy Technicolor world she imagines, and the dark violence simmering beneath her quaint country charm. “Pearl” is one of my favorite movies, and I’m so glad to be bringing back this colorway: a lovely, messy ode to our Star!
