This delicately pale palette is inspired by the otherworldly atmosphere surrounding Laura Palmer in the final scene of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, as flashes of light and splashes of color wash over her face.

The name comes from Laura’s bleak and vulnerable conversation with Donna earlier in the film:
Donna: “Do you think that if you were falling in space, that you would slow down after a while, or go faster and faster?”
Laura: “Faster. And faster. And for a long time you wouldn’t feel anything. And then you’d burst into fire. Forever. And the angels wouldn’t help you, because they’ve all gone away.”

The gentle, luminous colors illustrate the vulnerable moment when Laura’s feeling of hopeless abandonment shifts to hysterical relief as her spirit feels a moment of mercy, realizing that even in the darkest places, there’s hope a small light might still arrive. ✨
