Dance Studio
Colorway synopsis:
The interior of the Helena Markos Dance Company is actually…quite beautiful. The entrance to the studio has geometric marble flooring and the waiting area has velvet lined, ballerina pink chairs. The studios themselves have fun, ‘70s patterned flooring, neutral, feminine lavender drapes, and floor length mirrors. However, by now you know that there is a presence within the walls of the Helena Markos Dance Studio, an existence that is threatening the dancers who have traveled near and far to be a part of this troupe.
Here's a little more background for those who want to keep reading: Long ago, it was established that there were three Mothers; three gods; three devils: Mother Tenebrarum (Darkness), Mother Lachrymarum (Tears), and Mother Suspiriorum (Sighs). These Mothers represent three witches who long ago roamed the earth, causing destruction and death in their pursuit of power, wealth, and eternal life. These witches now reside within the Helena Markos Dance Company, and seek out powerful dancers to inhabit. Helena Markos herself - seen later in the film - is disgusting and decrepit, a true conglomeration of diseases. She needs a new body, and Susie is who she has her eyes on, as her natural talent and beauty is coveted by all in the coven of the dance studio.
