Lynch’s vision for “Dune” presents a world that teeters between personal and operatic, resulting in a film that feels both ambitious and at odds with itself. 🎭

While Lynch has spoken out about his dissatisfaction with “Dune,” - blaming studio interference and a lack of creative control - this film has garnered a cult status over time due to its crazy production design and overall campiness— this film is just too Lynchian to be a straightforward blockbuster. 😜
