“Eraserhead” is unabashedly one of my favorite David Lynch works. At the time I saw it in my late teens, I hadn’t seen anything like it before, so having this be my introduction to the genre of experimental film was a real unsettling treat. 🕸️🍭
“Eraserhead” is a nightmarish lullaby of industrial decay and paternal dread. The story follows Henry Spencer, a quiet man consumed by anxiety as he navigates a bleak industrial world and the emotional horrors of unexpected fatherhood within an isolating relationship.
