Douglas Firs (Twin Peaks) (wool bases) 🌲
With varied tones that form a subtly vibrant palette of pine-green hues, from richly-shadowed forest understory to sun-dappled fern and lichen, each base takes the dyes a bit differently to suggest a different snapshot of the iconic Ghostwood National Forest of Twin Peaks. “Smell those trees! Smell those Douglas Firs.”
Welcoming back for the third year in a row is this fan favorite, and one of the first colorways I ever created. Love seeing this one make a return!
In Twin Peaks, the forest is more than a backdrop; it’s a living, breathing presence, a threshold between worlds where mystery and danger take root. This colorway captures the haunting beauty and whispered secrets of the woods, where the Douglas Firs are always watching.
In the pilot episode of Twin Peaks, eccentric Special Agent Dale Cooper enters the town of Twin Peaks to help uncover the mysterious murder of local teenager Laura Palmer.
“Oh Diane, I almost forgot,” Cooper exclaims into his tape recorder. “Got to find out what these trees are, they’re really something!”
Note: these skeins may not be scratch and sniff, but you can almost smell the forest air when you see these greens. 😏
The second photo shows in order from left to right: Laura Bulky, Donna DK, Annie Sock/Fingering, and my new Maddy Merino/Linen Fingering
The third photo shows in order from left to right: my new Ghostwood Eco DK, Margaret Luxe DK, Sarah Suri/Silk Fingering, and Lucy Laceweight
This collection is a preorder 🧶
Turnaround time is estimated to be 4-8 weeks 🗓️

Important Yarn Details ↓
• All yarn is gently washed and rinsed. Each skein is lovingly hand-dyed, which makes them all unique. Please be mindful that upon first wash, a little dye may bleed, just like a good new pair of jeans! Even though many of these bases are superwash merino wool, I still recommend hand washing to prolong the life of your yarn/garments
• I have done my best to accurately capture the colors of the skein, however, colors may vary slightly
• Swatch shown is knit with Donna DK

✨NEW✨ Maddy Merino/Linen Fingering (1 ply)
90% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Linen

(Machine wash cool & gentle, dry flat)
A new in-between season favorite! The linen in this blend adds some natural strength and earthy luster while also helping resist piling. It also has a really nice, creepy-cobwebby look since the linen doesn’t really take on much dye. This yarn base has a great fluid, elegant drape that works well for lightweight sweaters, shawls, or other neutral weather knits.

Lana BFL Sock (High Twist - 2 ply)

🐑 Bluefaced Leicester a special breed of English sheep with wool that is strong, resists pilling, and dyes beautifully. Drier and somewhat coarser feeling than superwash merino, with a more structured drape. Great for projects that could use some extra resilience and radiance.
