It’s hard to put into words the love that is felt for this film, by me and almost everyone in the whole world. From Stanley Kubrick to Jack Nicholson to the late, absolutely wonderful Shelley Duvall, Kubrick’s 1980 adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Shining” is one of the most iconic and beloved films of all time.

Jack and Wendy Torrance, along with their young son Danny, move to the Overlook Hotel to take care of it while it’s closed during the isolated winter months. Jack is looking forward to the months of solitude so he can focus on his writing, Danny, who is tormented by psychic premonitions, begins to have disturbing visions of past residents of the hotel. Although Wendy tries to lead a normal life for them all, Jack discovers the hotels dark secrets and slowly begins to unravel.

All yarn is gently washed and rinsed. Each skein is lovingly hand-dyed, which makes them all unique, even in the same dye lot. Please be mindful that upon first wash, a little dye may bleed. Even though many of these bases are superwash merino wool, I still recommend hand washing to prolong the life of your yarn/garments!

I have done my best to accurately capture the colors of the skein, however, colors may vary slightly.

Turnaround time is 3-8ish weeks after preorder ends - orders placed now might arrive after Halloween, but who doesn't like extending the spooky season!
